PriceWeber celebrates every piece of work we produce for our clients, but when our work for Brown-Forman – one of our longest-standing clients – gets accolades from national advertising media, it’s time to open some bubbly and really celebrate (with KORBEL California Champagne, of course)!
One of the new TV spots for KORBEL California Champagne that we created and produced has been recognized as one of the week’s Advertising Age / iSpot Hot Spots. An article by Advertising Age on Oct. 22, 2015, places the spot alongside such national brands as Geico, Apple, PlayStation, T-Mobile and Victoria’s Secret. The spot features a hiker climbing a fire escape to a rooftop party, where he is greeted by friends and flowing KORBEL California Champagne. The ad is one of two spots created by PriceWeber that push the envelope for advertising creative within the champagne and sparkling-wine category.
PriceWeber is the largest full-service digital advertising agency in the region. Robert Trinkle, partner, vice president and account director, and Jeff Van Zandt and Will Cauthen, executive creative directors, oversaw creative direction and final editing for the spot.
"PriceWeber is proud to represent some of Brown-Forman’s most iconic brands, including KORBEL California Champagne, for more than 45 years,” Trinkle said. "It is great to work with clients who allow us to develop creative that breaks out of category tradition while remaining true to the core brand strategy.”
The spot began running Oct. 21 on Bravo, BBC America, IFC, BET, Food Network, FYI, Travel Channel, TLC, WE, Lifetime and Univision.
Ad Age / iSpot Hot Spots feature new and trending TV commercials tracked by iSpot.tv, a company that catalogs, tags and measures activity around TV ads in real time. The most engaging ads show sustained social heat, ranked by SpotShare scores reflecting the percentage of digital activity associated with each over the past week.
